The local garden notebook
The contact-page notebook prepares plain text in your browser. Its code does not submit your entries to a server, create an account, use analytics or intentionally store entries in cookies or local storage. Preparing a note is not the same as sending an inquiry.
If you choose Copy, the text is placed on your device’s clipboard when browser permission allows. If you choose Download, your browser creates a text file. You control those copies. Browser autofill, session restoration, backups and device software may retain information independently of this site.
Email you choose to send
If you email [email protected], your address, message and any attachments become part of that correspondence. Information may be handled by the mail services involved in delivery and used to understand the inquiry, respond, address corrections or protect against misuse.
Do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, payment details or identifying information about neighbors. A general description of the site is usually enough. Relevant correspondence may be retained while handling an inquiry, maintaining a necessary record or meeting applicable obligations; unnecessary material should be deleted. This site does not offer an automated retention schedule for email.
Technical site requests
Your browser must request pages, styles, scripts and local images from the site’s host. Hosting infrastructure may process technical details such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser information and error records to deliver and protect the site. The static page code cannot determine the host’s actual log retention or infrastructure settings.
No advertising scripts, embedded maps, external fonts or third-party analytics are included in these pages. External reference links are ordinary links; the destination receives a request when you choose to visit it and has its own privacy practices.
